■ 2002年3月筹建，5月创建，7月正式运行。
■ 2002年年底加盟犬场（舍）已达100余家。
■ 2003年元月网站重组，确定产权归属并开始提供有偿服务，自此开创大批犬场（舍）加盟电子商务先河。
■ 2004年4月搜狗网俱乐部基地开始动工建设。
■ 2004年5月将“sogou.net”和“sogou.com.cn”域名转让给“搜狐”,后者于当年8月建立搜索类网站“搜狗”。
■ 2004年12月底搜狗网俱乐部基地竣工。
■ 2005年1月成立“北京市搜狗宠物有限公司”。
■ 2005年5月搜狗犬粮正式面市。
■ 2005年8月首家搜狗宠物加盟店正式开业。
■ 2005年9月 狗年宠物贺岁剧进入搜狗网爱犬人俱乐部开展拍摄工作，搜狗公司作为主要协拍单位，为剧组提供了大力支持。
■ 2005年10月由北京市搜狗宠物有限公司和“廊坊市人民政府”在廊坊举办了“首届中国国际宠物展”。

2007年3月以搜狗公司为发起人的"高加索&中亚牧羊犬联盟"成立,办公设在搜狗俱乐部,这是FCI进入中国以来,国
内首家和CKU联系最密切的犬种俱乐部。
■ 2007年5月聘请俄罗斯全犬种评审员奥列格.杨切夫在北京对高加索和中亚牧羊犬进行了一次高标准的纯种鉴定，
开创CKU成立以来单犬种独立鉴定先河。
■ 2007年6月正式签约大面积商铺，入驻大河宠物公园。
■ 2007年9月与CKU协商，成为CKU赛事报名代理和纯种犬鉴定代理报名合作单位，协助俄罗斯选手前来北京参加
CKU廊坊赛事。
■ 2007年9月搜狗视频(v.sgou.com)正式开通。
■ 2007年10月由“高加索&中亚牧羊犬联盟”提议并协助CKU在哈尔滨举办纯种犬鉴定会。
■ 2007年10月邀请全俄罗斯高加索俱乐部主席嘎丽娜女士和俄罗斯最资深高加索繁育者雅格金娜女士访问，并为
“高加索&中亚牧羊犬联盟”成员组织讲座和交流。
■2007年12月搜狗正式推出“商铺加盟”概念方案，全新改版。

我们是国内第一个以“搜狗”命名的犬类专业网站，数年以来一直默默的做事，“搜狗”不善张扬，更不会胡吹海哨，近年，国内的宠物网站如雨后春笋般的冒出来，经营者的素质良莠不齐，“搜狗”作为这个行业里最早的专业网站，经历了不良同行的黑客攻击和盗用图片等大大小小的风波不计其数，甚至还有恶意诽谤和中伤…….我们一直隐忍不发，因为在互联网飞速发展的今天，“搜狗”不愿为那些小人行为分散精力，而是要把所有的能量都投入到网站的发展上。“搜狗”坚信：只有坚定不移的往前走，阳光才能永远照耀自己，而靠那些鸡鸣狗盗的小伎俩诋毁别人的小人，永远只能活在黑暗中。鲁迅先生说得好：“捣乱有用也有效，但古今成大事者无！”
